How bright?
Just how bright are one of our lights? You probably see the term "lumen" thrown around but that is just the amount of light that can be output. Where we differ is we can use lenses to adjust the "lux" or lumens per square meter of our lights by focusing the light to where it's needed. For example, a single Mighty 3 with the 60° lens option can produce 356 lux from 10m away, while the Mighty 3 with the 10° lens option is capable of producing a staggering 12,547 lux from 10m away even though they are the same fixture.
People generally recommend the following at 1 meter above the floor:
300 lux in sports halls and general assembly areas
400 lux in offices, leisure halls and classrooms
500 lux in sales areas, automotive bodywork, woodworking areas, kitchens, control rooms, and general medical examination
1,000 lux in polishing and painting areas, difficult assembly areas, and hospital examination and treatment areas
3,000 lux to 10,000 lux in painting, touch up, precision assembly, and inspection areas
